OKARADA is an upcycled food company that makes crackers made mostly from okara (soybean pulp extracted while making soy milk or tofu) and vegan-friendly energy bars made from brewer’s grain. At present, the earth is facing many serious food problems, including food insecurity and food crisis. In particular, food loss has become a serious problem worldwide. While food loss is a problem, we also can’t ignore the fact that many people still suffer from severe food shortages. There are only a few people in the world who can afford to eat as much as we do. OKARADA wants to create products that are kinder to both our bodies and the planet while reducing food loss.
